ThE process:
I. Book the date.
Congratulations on your exciting news—you're expecting! Now is the perfect time to start searching for a maternity and newborn photographer. To ensure I can reserve a spot for your baby, it's best to get in touch during your 1st or 2nd trimester. I set aside a limited number of due dates each month, and since we can't predict the exact arrival date, booking early helps guarantee that we can schedule your session within those crucial first two weeks after birth.
II. Baby has arrived
Yay! Your baby has arrived! Now it's time to set up your newborn session. We’ll finalize the date for your shoot and I’ll provide you with a pre-session prep guide to ensure everything is set for a smooth and memorable experience. Newborn sessions are best held between 5-15 days after birth, so I suggest contacting me within 2-3 days to schedule. We’re excited to capture these precious early moments with you! Don't Forget Mama's you can fully utilize my Client Closet during this session as well!
III. The Session
It's your session day! One important thing to remember is that specific poses during your newborn session are not guaranteed as they are entirely dependent on how the babies cooperation is. Typically I will begin with solo baby shots, followed by the lifestyle and family portraits. The session will last 2-3 hours and is all base on babies cooperation. Please feel free to drive separate with siblings while one parent comes with baby for the first hour.
